• Faithful to my Homeland, the Republic of Poland


    If you intend to travel to Poland for business, tourist or private purposes, you must submit documents to obtain a short-term visa, which is a Schengen visa, permitting a stay in Poland as well as in the Schengen countries for up to 90 days in any 6-month period.


    Visa fee – 60 EUR

    For children aged 6-12 – 35 EUR


    The visa fee shall be waived for applicants belonging to one of the following categories (based on Article 16. of “REGULATION (EC) No 810/2009 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 13 July 2009 establishing a Community Code on Visas”):


    1. Relatives of EU, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland citizens, if they are travelling with the relative or will meet in  connection with the journey;

    2. Children under six years;

    3. School pupils, students, postgraduate students and accompanying teachers who undertake stays for the purpose of study or educational training;

    4. Researchers from third countries travelling for the purpose of carrying out scientific research as defined in Recommendation No 2005/761/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issue by the Member States of uniform short-stay visas for researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research;

    5. Representatives of non-profit organizations aged 25 years or less participating in seminars, conferences, sports, cultural or educational events organized by non-profit organizations participants of conferences or cultural events.



    Visas for family members of EU/EEA nationals are issued free of charge.

    According to Directive 2004/38/EC, a family member of EU citizen means:

    • the spouse
    • the direct descendants who are under the age of 21 or are dependents and those of the spouse
    • the dependent direct relatives in the ascending line and those of the spouse


    Moreover, the fee for reconsideration of rejected visa application of a family member as defined above but of a Polish Citizen is also to be waived.
